Nursery Policy

We look upon little children as gifts from God. We at first Baptist, Clifton wish to reflect that in the manner in which our Nursery is run, including its appearance, its proficiency, its workers, its ability to reflect the love of God in and through it. To bring that to pass and to aid in understanding, the following policies have been adopted by the church:

  1. AGES

Children ages 0 to 3 years only. Ages 3 and up are to be part of Church or Children's Church if that ministry is available.

  1. SICKNESS

No sick child shall be brought to the church nursery. This shall apply to everyone.

  1. TAKE A TURN

Any adult who has a child in the nursery shall be willing to "take a turn" in the nursery. We certainly encourage all others who can, to volunteer.

  1. ADULT SUPERVISION

Children should not watch children. The nursery shall be supervised by adults at all times. An adult being defined as 18 years of age or older. Any helper shall be 12 years of age or older. The number of helpers shall be limited to 1. The one who is in supervision shall also assure that any audio or video material is Christian in nature of standard.

  1. SCHEDULING, PROBLEMS OR QUESTIONS

The scheduling of our nursery, any problems or questions that may arise, shall be directed to our Nursery Coordinator.

  1. POLICY POSTED

These policies shall be posted outside the church nursery door.
